This is an original dry pastel drawing measuring 30x40cm, without a frame, drawn by Thea Kiær.
I always draw my dry pastel drawings on the best quality Pastelmat paper. This paper means that the color pigments from the dry pastel stick to the substrate in a completely different way to other paper. This means that the drawing does not need to be varnished (sprayed with a protective spray) in order for the pigments to stick better to the sheet. By avoiding this, you preserve the strength of color in the dry pastel and the drawing becomes even more dynamic and alive. Enjoy these drawings!
I recommend that the drawing be framed in glass frames (preferably artificial glass) for the best possible result so that you avoid reflections in the glass when viewing the drawing.
